  • Very light: Isomar Cielo, with its specific weight of 220 kg/m3, can be "lifted with a finger." It is designed to make ceiling installation work much lighter.
  • Wood-free: The absence of wood-based components makes it completely waterproof. There is no risk of it absorbing moisture and, as a result, it is not subject to movement such as expansion or contraction.
  • Rigid and stable: Due to its special composition, Isomar Cielo, unlike wood-based products, does not twist or bend, ensuring perfect stability and flatness in application.
  • The panel is supplied already squared and sanded

Composition

  • Designed with its ceiling application in mind, Isomar Cielo is made with non-hygroscopic and lightweight raw materials, adhesives with exclusive formulations and no woody components.
  • The foam core can be supplied with low flame spread, upon request.

Technical information

Isomar Cielo can be supplied raw or can be coated, painted or plated with any finish, including the desired wood veneer.

P-Wall Ultralight

Applications

The P-Wall panel system, in the standard version. was created with the goal of absolute balance between acoustic, mechanical and lightweight performance. The P-Wall Ultralight version focuses mainly on significant weight savings.

ThicknessWeight

4110,42
4311,38
4512,34
5112,94
6113,94

Features

  • Weight reduction: is the lightest of the sound absorbing panels. P-Wall Ultralite comes to be 30% lighter compared with Isophon Light + Isomar and other alternatives commonly used for the same applications, without any relevant trade-off in terms of noise reduction and robustness.
  • Noise reduction: Despite the low density of the panel, the sound reduction values are very high. The weighted sound reduction index (Rw) of a standard thickness (45 mm) is equal to 32 dB.
  • Isotropy: Due to its special composition, P-Wall offers extremely balanced mechanical performance when used in both length and width. As a result, the cutting layout can be optimized by significantly reducing waste and scrap material. Unlike other competing products, P-Wall's isotropy values have been achieved without the use of any redundant, heavy, and noise-transmitting frames.
  • Mechanical performance: In addition to the classical mechanical tests of flexural strength and elastic modulus, P-Wall was tested against uncommon strength tests such as the edge compression and the shear test. These data were collected to specifically help engineers design quiet and lightweight partitions for next-generation vessels.
  • The panel is supplied already squared and sanded

Composition

  • Born from Nord Compensati 's long experience in designing special sandwich panels, P-Wall Ultralight is made with new and improved raw materials, adhesives with unique formulations, and enhanced layering of wood components.
  • D-noise sound barrier, a mass loaded up to 6 mm, can be added to one or both sides of P-Wall Ultralight. The bonding of the D-noise-industrial grade, which is difficult to obtain on the construction site-makes set-up easier and greatly reduces installation time.
  • The acoustic barrier is also available with low flame and smoke propagation D-noise FR

P-WALL GETS ITALIAN PATENT FOR INDUSTRIAL INVENTION

  • P-Wall is the result of a team effort by the R&D and Commercial departments to meet the needs of shipyards for weight reduction and noise abatement in the design and construction of both structural parts and for furniture and decoration of modern boats.
  • The difference from other sound-insulating panels on the market is the fact that P-Wall is able to guarantee better technical and mechanical performance with significant weight savings.
  • Finally, P-Wall is made from recycled materials, a very important aspect because it facilitates recycling operations at its end of life.
  • The spirit of innovation and attention to sustainability, which have always been in the DNA of Nord Compensati, enabled us to invent a unique and revolutionary material, which was granted patent No. 102021000004250 in March 2023 for industrial invention by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.

Technical information

The outer faces are made of RINA-certified Okoumé and offer increased rigidity and strength.
Bondings are in Class 3 - E1
