Screw holding power

In addition to the characteristics of lightness and solidity, Isomar Screw™ is therefore also suitable as a load-bearing element thanks to the screw sealing layer (made of Okoume Marine Plywood ) placed in the PET core.

Features

  • Lightweight: extremely lightweight, for the same thickness it offers a improved rigidity and weight savings of up to 60%. compared to the Okoume Marine Plywood commonly used for the same applications
  • Excellent durability In high humidity and salinity environments
  • Excellent screw seal thanks to the central reinforcement layer made of Okoume Marine Plywood
  • Excellent dimensional stability, maintains a considerable degree of flatness and is not subject to torsion
  • Eco-friendly: The core is made of polyethylene terephthalate cellular foam. PET. It is an environmentally sustainable material with very low environmental impact and easily recyclable
  • PET is a closed-cell thermoplastic polymer and is not hygroscopic, so it does not absorb water or environmental moisture
  • Another characteristic of PET is its excellent resistance to high temperatures (up to 150° C).
  • The panel comes already squared and sanded

Composition

  • Composed of outer faces (skins) of Okoume Marine Plywood .
  • Face quality (surface layers): B/BB
  • Polyethylene terephthalate PET cell foam core
  • Inner layer in Okoume marine plywood for improved screw pullout strength
  • Gluing with melamine adhesive (See Specifications)
