Isophon Mass ™ is the soundproofing Sandwich panel used by major shipyards to increase comfort on board. Thanks to the use of a thin layer of high-density rubber core, it is possible to reduce the noise significantly avoiding the use of bulky and thick materials. The versatility and the ease of application make Isophon Mass ™ a suitable product for civil and industrial constructions as well.

Composition
- Composed of outer faces (skins) of Okoume Marine Plywood
- High-density rubber sheath core of +/- 2000 kg/m³ available from 2 to 6 mm
Certifications and marking
Technical information
The parts in Okoume are manufactured in compliance with NF CTB-X exterior plywood standards. They have obtained the CE marking for structural use in external environment, according to EN 13896 standards.
Depending on the specificities, Isophon Mass ™ can be requested with faces in plywood of Okoumè FSC certified mixed or 100% FSC.
The bonding of the compensated Okoumè used are in Class 3 – E1, therefore resistant to boiling ´ and ideal for external uses; are carried out according to EN 314.2.
Nota Bene - Class E0
Isophon Mass™ can be made entirely of Class E0 (no added formaldheyde) upon request.
