The first edition of SEAQUIP – Mediterranean Yacht & Marine Equipment Trade Fair concluded with a large turnout at Fiera Milano Rho, laying the groundwork for it to establish itself as a new benchmark for marine technologies and components. We were there!
Over the course of three days, the event provided a dynamic forum for discussion on innovations, projects, and future prospects for the yachting industry. Through exhibition spaces, meetings among industry professionals, and in-depth sessions, SEAQUIP fostered dialogue among the various players in the nautical supply chain, bringing to light some of the most pressing issues, such as the new challenges associated with increasingly responsible and sustainable design.
We at Nord Compensati believed in this first edition right from the start, participating with a demonstration mockup developed specifically for the trade show setting and designed to provide a concrete illustration of some of our solutions. The model allowed visitors to take a close look at the materials and manufacturing processes used to create interior partitions, headliners, and floor panels, offering a clear view of the potential applications of our products. The goal is to help designers, shipyards, and industry professionals better understand the technical characteristics of our solutions and the care with which they are developed and manufactured.
The star of the mockup was Sonor System, our bulkhead system developed for the superyacht sector. This solution, which has been thoroughly tested and is ready for installation, was designed to streamline the on-board installation process, representing an evolution of the traditional construction techniques used in the creation of bulkheads and interior structures on vessels.
Participating in SEAQUIP was an important opportunity for us to meet partners, professionals, and companies in the boating industry—in a setting that closely mirrors our own—to share experiences and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
Events like this provide a crucial opportunity for the industry to exchange ideas, contributing to the growth and development of increasingly innovative solutions.
