Applications
In addition to the same valuable characteristics of the traditional Okoumè marine plywood, Xiloflam ™ panels are also fire resistant. It is the most suitable product to meet the prevention requirements imposed by law in certain projects and where more safety and fire protection are requested. Thanks to IMO MED certification, Xiloflam ™ is suitable for top-level nautical applications.

Features

- Composed of layers of homogeneously peeled Okoumé impregnated with fire-resistant treatment, set at cross grain-vein
- Face quality (surface layers): B/BB
- Gluing with melamine adhesive in Class 3-E1 (See Specifications)
Technical information
The panels are MED certified: Module B n.0987/med-b/553, Module D n.0987/med-d/474 (Wheelmark).
The melamine bonding is in Class 3, resistant to boiling and ideal for external use; It is carried out according to standards EN 314.2 – UNI 6478/69, type M100 and AW100.
The panels also obtained the CE marking for structural use in an external environment, according to the EN13896 standard.
On request, Xiloflam™ marine plywood can be supplied with FSC certification.®.
