With the aim of satisfying the specific needs of customers, guaranteeing high quality standards and flexible and personalized production, Nord Compensati has optimized the machining processes by investing in the latest generation plants Modern and effective.
In this regard, we are pleased to inform you that the new Polyurethane bonding System which allows all kinds of panels (chipboard, MDF, plywood, etc.) to be coated with HPL, aluminum foil, glass, and other difficult-to-adhere surfaces.
How does that work:
1st phase: The glue, under normal solid conditions, is heated through a melter to a temperature of 150° and made liquid. It is injected, by means of a pump, into the spreader rollers, which are also heated to keep it fluid.
2nd phase: The substrate to be glued (chipboard, MDF, plywood, etc.) is fed into the spreader, and the glue is evenly distributed on the facade.
Stage 3: The substrate is laminated with the coating material (HPL, aluminum foil, glass and various surfaces).
4th phase: The laminated substrate is inserted into the rubber roller calender where it receives the proper pressure to complete the bonding cycle. Thanks to fast cooling, bonding is virtually instantaneous
Advantages of polyurethane gluing:
- Reduction of production times thanks to the very fast gluing. The pasted support no longer needs rest times but is ready for use.
- The laminated panel has no glue spills.
- Thanks to the use of water-free polyurethane glue, the panel has a greater dimensional stability.
- The coupled support is extremely resistant to moisture, steam and high weather. Temperature hikes, often suffered by materials during transport in containers, are no longer a problem.
